THE ISSUE
Case study from a recent long distance removal from Essex to Aberdeen. The client made an initial enquiry about moving from their property in Essex to their new one in Aberdeen. During the telephone conversation, we made an appointment for a pre-move survey to ascertain the removal requirements and provide a quote.
THE SMOOTH MOVES SOLUTION
Due to the distances involved, the removal was to be completed over four days. The first day involved packing all the client’s effects into bespoke removal cartons, including wardrobe cartons for the hanging clothes, and part-loading approx. 60 % of the furniture, obviously leaving enough effects for the client to have a comfortable night. On the second day, the crew completed the loading and after a final check round with the client the vehicle set off for Scotland for the final move.
